Enrique Suárez

Marketing and Public Relations Director

With a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Anahuac, in 1999 he founded The Product Placement Company, a marketing, communications, and public relations company specializing in exotic destinations, hotels, safaris, and ultra-luxury cruise lines.

Since establishing his agency, Enrique Suárez became and continues to be the public relations officer in Mexico and Latin America for high-end brands such as Silversea Cruises, which currently encompasses eleven ships and has given him the opportunity to visit every continent. 

He has also been PR for Four Seasons Bangkok, Four Seasons Chiang Mai, Four Seasons Koh Samui, Four Seasons Tented Camp, and other Four Seasons hotels worldwide for specific projects. Over the course of 10 years, he represented the Jumeirah hotel chain, with properties—such as the iconic Burj Al Arab—located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, London, Rome, Frankfurt, and Shanghai, among other destinations.

He was selected to represent The Tourism Authority of Thailand, and created very close ties and alliances with brands such as Park Hyatt, The Peninsula, and The Siam; various projects for the Seychelles Islands and its hotels; and the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the promotion of its main regions such as Lazio, Umbria, and Lombardy, with its spectacular properties, especially in Lago di Como. He was also in charge of public relations for Mexican hotel groups such as Grupo Plan, which included The Careyes, The Tamarindo, the Temozon haciendas, Santa Rosa, San José, Uayamon, and other properties, currently a Luxury Collection of the Marriott group.

Enrique has represented resorts such as the Casa de Campo hotel in the Dominican Republic, as well as Grand Lido and San Souci Lido in Jamaica, among others. He has worked on specific projects for the promotion of The Best of Patagonia, the spectacular Alver Palace in Buenos Aires, the Llao Llao in Bariloche, Las Hayas, Los Nostros, and other destinations in Argentina, achieving very close relationships with most international airlines.

As of 2015, Suárez implemented strategic public relations and promotional actions for the &Beyond and Wilderness Safaris lodges and camps  located in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia etc…Thanks to his passion for remote destinations and his countless trips, he served as an advisor for the Centurion Board of American Express, creating projects for Centurion cardholders. Additionally, he established very close relationships with several of the major travel agencies focused on luxury itineraries, such as Virtuoso and Signature.

In May of 2020, Enrique Suárez, through his agency, The Product Placement Company, joined The Alest Hotel to provide marketing and public relations services. Some of his main achievements have been creating alliances, locating talent for certain key positions, creating and supervising the branding and image for this extraordinary property, and designing a communications strategy that will transmit the sophisticated essence of this one-of-a-kind petite hotel in Mexico City—and the experience of gracious living it provides—as accurately as possible.
